FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This is how it is with Intercity Hotels. In our FAQ, we provide our policies and differences in a very transparent way so that you can plan ahead and avoid surprises on your trip.

  • WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN TIME?

    Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m. the following day for all Intercity hotels, except for Intercity Cuiabá, where check-in starts at 12:00 p.m. and check-out ends at 12:00 p.m. We offer early check-in and late check-out options, subject to availability and an additional fee may apply.

  • WHAT IS THE CHECK-OUT TIME?

    Hotel rates end at 12pm the following day, but you can also use the late check-out option subject to availability and an extra fee may be charged.

  • HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CANCEL A HOTEL RESERVATION?

    The Right to Withdraw is guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Code, in article 49, with reimbursement if the cancellation is made less than seven days after confirmation. For reservations made without advance payment, the cancellation period is 24 hours before the check-in date.

  • CAN I SMOKE IN A HOTEL ROOM?

    The law prohibits the use of tobacco-based or non-tobacco-based smokeless products in public areas. This is why hotels are 100% smoke-free. If smoking is found in a hotel room, a fine equivalent to the cost of one night's stay will be charged.

  • HOW TO MAKE A HOTEL RESERVATION?

    To make a reservation online, you need to access the hotel website and select the date range you wish to make the reservation to check availability and then choose the desired room type. You will also need a valid credit card, which will be used to guarantee your reservation.

  • HOW DOES HOTEL CHECK-IN WORK?

    Check-in takes place when you arrive at the hotel, and can be done until 2pm. At this point, your personal information will be confirmed, you will need to sign the hotel registration form and you will then be given access to the room you selected during the reservation.

  • CAN I CHECK IN TO A HOTEL EARLY?

    Hotels offer a service called early check-in, which is designed for guests who need to check into their room early. This type of service is always subject to room availability at the time of check-in and may incur an additional fee. Contact the hotel to check the availability of early check-in.

  • WHAT IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?

    Check-in is the moment you arrive at the hotel, when you register, receive access to the room and begin your stay, while check-out is the moment you leave the hotel, when you return the room keys, settle all payments and end your stay at the hotel.

  • FROM WHAT AGE DO CHILDREN PAY AT HOTEL?

    A child up to 7 years old, staying in their parents' bed, has no additional cost.


    If it is necessary to accommodate the child in an extra bed (such as a cot, single bed or sofa bed), the hotel must be consulted regarding availability and additional costs.


    For more than one child, additional costs will apply, depending on hotel availability.

  • CAN I PAY FOR MY RESERVATION IN INSTALLMENTS?

    Daily rates can be paid in up to 3 installments for amounts above R$200.00, or for Yoo2Rio hotel amounts above R$1.000,00.

  • WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RESERVATION?

    Reservations include breakfast served in the hotel restaurant and complimentary Wi-Fi.



    Accommodation for a child up to 7 years old, as long as they are accommodated in the same bed as their parents.



    If extra accommodation is required (such as a cot, extra bed and sofa bed), the hotel must be consulted regarding availability and the rate applied during the period.

  • DO I NEED TO PRESENT DOCUMENTS AT CHECK-IN?

    It is mandatory to present a photo ID upon check-in.



    Accommodation of children or teenagers under the age of 18 is prohibited without parental authorization registered at a notary's office and according to Law 12,038, it is mandatory for children and teenagers to present an identification document at the time of check-in.

  • WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

    Payments can be made in cash or credit card.



    The total daily value will be charged at check-in and extra consumption will be automatically charged to the credit card provided and validated at check-in.



    We accept the following brands: Visa, MasterCard, Elo and American Express.



    Rest assured that personal data and credit card details are encrypted. ;)

  • CAN I STAY WITH PETS?

     Yes. At Intercity hotels, check here, each apartment can accommodate 1 pet (puppy or cat), small (up to 35cm tall and 15kg). The person responsible for the mascot must present the updated vaccination card. When making your reservation, don't forget to include your pet's reservation. Yoo2 Hotels 300.00 + 10% per night. For Hotel Nacional Distributed by Intercity and Intercity Hotels R$ 120.00 + 10% per day and Hotel Intercity Portofino R$ 120.00 per day.
